07 /15/15 I'm looking for a new marine engine 350 v8, I see this company has relatively low price on engines, but then I see all the complaints. I like to thank all those who have posted their experience, I will not do business with this company. As consumers, it's nice to know you have strangers trying to look out for your best interest, this is the only way to put a (bad company)out of business, due to lack of business. Run, don’t wake away from this business. I wish I had taken the time to look at reviews before I purchased a longblock engine from US Engine Inc. Feb 2, 2014, also doing business as Lake Washington Boat Center. Living in the NW I drove over to picked up my marine 350 GM from them. When I tried to assemble my parts I found the crank end bolt hole would not accept a bolt to install the harmonic balancer. I called them and was told to use a 7/16 tap to chase the threads, I did but bolt hole was sloppy. I returned the engine to ... read more

Stay away!!!! The "warranty" Is not worth half the price of the paper its written on, The owner "Charlie" does his best to blame everyone else for whatever the problem might be.

Buyer Beware. Do not purchase a motor from this company. Their warranty has so many loop holes and conditions it is worthless. Bought a motor from them, first one didnt even run twenty minutes, returned it and 3 weeks later finally got motor back, with the same old oil filter on it. The filter had metal in it, along with metal and paint flakes in oil pan and throughout the motor in addition it has been bored .060. RIP OFF – They have a warrenty for life be cause they don't stand behind it anyway. If you purchase it has no warrenty. Nothing is there fault. Anything that can happen to a motor will be your fault therefor your warrenty is now void. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF...

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE MUST READ!!!! – BOUGHT A 383 STROKER FROM THEM, THEY SAID I COULD CHANGE MY 350 MAG JUST NEEDED A HARMONIC BALANCER, MY MECHANIC PUT THE ENGINE IN AND IT HAD A TERRIBLE VIBRATION, THEY TOLD MY MECHANIC TO CHECK ALL THIS STUFF AND THEN DO A COMM P CHECK. EVERYTHING WAS FINE SO THEY HAD HIM PACK THE ENGINE UP TO SEND BACK. THE FREIGHT COMPANY BUSTED THE TOP OFF MY ENGINE, AT LEAST THATS WHAT US ENGINE TOLD ME. excelent customer service – bought a set of heads last week (cores only) and was let out the door without paying until I was sure they would work for my application. I agread to pay when satisfied. Thisn kind of trust in customer service does no exist any more. Very pleased. Thanks Jon Fenner

"Total Rip Off!!!" – Avoid US Engne at all costs! This place doesn't stand by their warranty, nor do they care about cutomer relations. They shipped a motor with plastic straps holding it down. The motor fell of the pallet during shipment. Broken roker arms, bent push rods, and who know what else. Engine ended up failing after it was repaired, and they wouldn't stand by the warranty.
