A greedy bank, regret my mortgage being through them. Always sound helpful when talking to them. But always find ways to suck more out of you

US Bank Appraiser finished his work and submitted his report about a month ago (paid $500 for appraisal). US Bank Corporate is stalling and telling me to keep calling back (6 times to be exact) to check on the status of dropping the $168/mo. Private Mortgage Insurance (PMI). The delays appear to be built into US Bank's process in an effort to pocket the extra money (I obviously can't prove that, it's just a feeling). $668 and counting, presuming they continue to drag their feet. I've lost much respect & have little confidence in US Bank anymore. They charge customers in the typical corporate, capitalistic way & the days of earning interest are gone. Moreover, customer service by phone is a nightmare, navigating their automated system just to have them drop the call. Their online banking system is confusing, the way they list pending charges, making it extremely difficult to budget accurately. There is little incentive to bank with U.S. Bank anymore.
