I would like to know if I can open a bank account. What documents do I need? I am a J-1 visa holder.
My experience here was terrible. When I asked to withdraw my cash, the bald staff member was extremely rude and sarcastic, saying things like “your planning is bad” and refusing to give me the full amount I requested. He only gave me part of my money and even threw my card back at me. Very unprofessional and disrespectful.
I’m not sure if this is a bank branch. About three weeks ago, as a tourist, I wanted to open a bank account to deposit the cash I had with me. The staff told me that they could open a bank account and that there wouldn’t be any issues. They also said they would call me in a few days when my debit card was delivered to the branch.
