Walked up to the counter to have a check in my name signed over to another individual, who was also with me and an account holder with US bank. I was told I needed to sign the back in front of them, which I did, and was then told that "we don't really take signed over checks". The teller then went on to explain they just don't take signed over payroll checks to help prevent fraud (which is either new or a blatant lie as I've also had this done at a US bank before) but this was not a payroll check. I cannot walk into a bank for the first time and have a 20 something woman look me up and down and give me the side eye and then not even make eye contact when I am asking about opening an account. Is this high school or a bank? Please hire more mature female tellers or train them on how to not act jealous of a 45 year old woman. What a disgrace to a bank with a mature reputation. Grow up!
