I took a US bank check into the branch to have them cash it since I don't trust the slum Lord that wrote the check. The wanted to charge $7.00 dollars to cash there own check. Then they wanted my S.S# number. The first thing that came to mind was Wells Fargo and Fraud. If I had the time on my hands I am curious if that is even legal to require you to set up a profile before the bank cashes it's own check. I was able to produce a valid states ID.
