The technician drilled through my perfectly functional lock without asking permission, and afterward told me that it was the only way despite many online sources saying otherwise. He then charged an inflated price for a replacement lock that didn’t even match the style of the rest of my home. The entire service felt like an unnecessary upsell combined with poor craftsmanship.
The technician’s sloppy work caused the lock to misalign, so the door now scrapes and squeaks loudly. I have to slam it shut every time.
