We ordered an Ursa Minor J30 camper top for our Jeep JLUR in Nov 2020. It was a long wait for it to arrive. Covid going full bore. About 9 month wait. We had it shipped to our home in NC. We installed it ourselves in our garage. Pretty simple, definitely not difficult. It fit perfectly. John goes ABOVE AND BEYOND to take care of his customers. We ordered a J30 camper for our Jeep Wrangler in February with plans to have it installed 3-months later before boarding a ferry to Alaska at the end of May. Although there were some supply issues, John stayed all day and night at his garage to finish building and installing the camper top so we would not miss our ferry. Very happy with our J30 Ursa Minor. They use high quality components throughout, from the stainless steel hinges, touch activated interior lights, and durable fabric which isn't loud in windy conditions. The screen material is thick and rugged, and withstands our dog scratching and leaning against it. The USB ports inside the tent area are a nice addition for phone charging at night. Great concept, the camper itself is very well thought out and executed. Problems start with the owner, John. He just doesn't understand that he might have to communicate with his customers. My delivery date was off by several months ruining a trip planned around having the camper. The costing on my unit failed within a year of purchase, John was ZERO help with this, I had to get it fixed myself and now having trouble being reimbursed. Buyer beware!!!
They make an amazing product. Worlds ahead of even the next best competition for rooftop tents. Everything is extremely well thought out, and functional. I got one for my Jeep JK and not only is it a great place to sleep, but it makes the Jeep look better. Tons of people keep asking me if it's a g wagon...
