This is indeed NOT a walk in clinic. I am visiting my mom in Burk from Alabama. While here I developed a kidney infection. Not usually a problem except I have a permanent Neuphrostomy due to kidney stones and a fused ureter. Sepsis is a real possibility. I tried to explain to the receptionist. She was not willing to hear any of it as Wednesdays are not a “walk in clinic day.” She did offer the clinic in WF to make an appointment for me. I could do that myself if I wanted to drive to WF. My wife took our daughter in who was running a high fever and dizzy. They refused to accept her as a walk in and wanted us to make an appointment for a later date. She needs to be seen now, not a few days later. My wife said that she was told that they only accept walk ins on Mondays and Wednesdays. If we want her to be seen now we would have to go to Wichita Falls. She said the staff really could care less about our daughter and was quite rude. What a joke!
Great staff great care love this place an so do my kids
Urgent care was designed to help people with non-life threatening problems so Emergency Rooms would not have to be over run. Why are they closed on Friday?
