Amazing doctor. Husband 75 years old with prostate and bladder cancer and questionable chances for getting all cancer removed. Dr. Auffenberg removed every bit of cancer, and husband has stayed cancer free. Would recommend him to anyone who appreciates an honest and caring physician.
Dr Auffenberg has preformed 2 surgeries on me this year. Very clear in diagnosis and treatment plan. His office thoroughness caught a second cancer and saved my life. Great Doctor and easy to talk to.
Dr A saved my life and remembers my case and personally spends as much time with me as I need to understand and care of my condition. I started with him at Northwestern and have transferred care with him as he has gone into private practice. I trust him with my life, literally.
After speaking to the front desk at Northwestern and paying my $65 copay, I saw Dr. Auffenberg for 5 minutes. He prescribed an ultrasound and sent me home. The office then sent me a $265 bill on top of my copay after telling me i wasn't responsible for anything else. $265 for 5 minutes of him using his eyes to look at me and tell me to get an ultrasound? Although this took place a different hospital, Dr. Auffenberg never responded to my concerns regarding this bill and it has been sent to collections. I was mislead and lied ... read more
