My father had a kidney removed robotically for a malignant lesion. He had previous surgery for a ruptured spleen and hernia repairs. Dr. Auffenberg did great. It was a difficult surgery. I recommend him highly for complex urological surgery.
Dr. Auffenberg is a congenial caring man; and a phenomenal doctor. Per the surgical nurse first assist, this was the most difficult surgery she had seen in 30 years, and he was patient and worked his way through to a brilliantly successful surgery. 5 stars is simply not enough.
I saw Dr Auffenberg twice the year I had bladder cancer, once at the start of treatments and once at the end. Never saw him once during the entire year I was being treated, thirteen visits without any contact with him..He would never return my calls and once forgot to call in my prescription. I am seeing a different Doctor who takes an interest in my health, and sees me regularly. Cannot recommend Dr Auffenberg to anyone,
