Excellent care from Dr. Poli and his staff (from fellowship doctors to office staff) Very pleased with my new pain management doctor!
Wait times in the office for scheduled appointments are atrocious and the way they organize appointments is not helpful for folks with chronic or complex pain problems. There have been several occasions where I waited in the waiting room for over an hour. Today I waited one hour and learned that my doctor still had five patients ahead of me! I just called the posted website phone # on my computer to try to get an appointment for Dr. Xu who the U of R recommended acupunturist. They said that they do not acupuncture there for a "very, very long time" and then she hung up on me! Very, very poor receptionist!
Dr Koh and the team I see here are great. He shows a lot of concern and seems to genuinely care about my pain level and finding something that will help alleviate at least part of it. I've been through multiple tests with my orthopedic doctor and so far, we can't figure out the root cause for the level of pain I experience every moment of every day. Whoever they have answering the phones is void of any personality. It’s bad enough that you have to wait 4 weeks for approval for an injection but then you have to wait another 4 weeks for an appointment. The receptionist was so cold and unsympathetic. She was very offensive.
