We're from Florida, so we wanted to try NJ seafood. I hate to write a bad review, as restaurants live and die by them, but this place will survive. Very touristy. Atmosphere right on the water was beautiful. Food was terrible, sadly. Slimy, blobby "sauce", sticky pasta. I picked out the tiny rubber shrimp just to have something to eat. We have not been to uries for many years. Last night we decided to go. Food was delicious! We had seafood combo platter and flounder dinner. Cooked to perfection!! Staff was pleasant and accommodating! We arrived at 5pm for the early bird but by the time we got seated it was after 5:30 when early bird was over. They were so nice to honor the early bird specials given they were busy and we were seated after 5:30. We would definitely go back!!!
Started with putting my name in and waiting for a table. Waited for awhile and then saw 3 groups of 2 people go in ahead of us knowing they were behind us when we came in. Had to go up to the front desk and find out what was going on. Never really gave an explanation - just said you are coming up on the list. Then we get seated, ordered our food - which was the special menu, I ordered the prime rib. Waiter came back to me 20 minutes later and said the kitchen ran out of prime rib.
