I had to put down my sweet angel after 12 years and I could not possibly have been happier with the ease of transition from the staff. Marissa was phenomenal and so incredibly gentle and caring. They made us feel so heard and really let us take our time in saying goodbye to our baby. Cannot say enough good things about them. They took care of absolutely everything for us.
UrgentVet in Hoover was so nice. Dr. Douglas, Israel (sp?) and Marissa could not have been kinder. Our sweet Shihtzu, Pumpkin, was suddenly ill and from entry into the clinic to exiting, they helped us figure out what was happening and how to move forward. Ultimately, we had to put our sweet pup down, but they were just as gentle through that process as well. The price was very reasonable and we did not feel “pressured” financially to do unnecessary procedures, tests, etc.. Would highly recommend.
My husband and I had the most wonderful experience during a very hard time. We had to take our 13 year old Lab mix to the urgent care vet over the weekend. Our poor Spot had been suffering from a ton of fluid build up caused by heart failure. The staff were absolutely amazing. They made our fur baby feel so comfortable and showed so much compassion for us as we had to make the decision to give him his final rest. Dr. Douglas & Shontel are so awesome! Thank you so much for caring for my baby girl Zara. Dr. Douglas is amazing, he explained everything throughly. He also made sure Zara had everything she needs post her procedure. Shontel called and checked on Zara the following day. I highly recommend this place for all of your urgent care needs! We are so grateful to Dr. Bridget Stephens and the staff at UrgentVet for their skill and care of our three Goldendoodles. After experiencing a similar situation with our first doodle, who did not have a positive outcome, I am very aware of the advantages of having a skilled veterinary who knows how critical ingesting a foreign object can be and acutely aware that time is of the essence.
