They were so good, I cannot say enough good things about everyone there and my experience.
Had to unexpectedly put down our family dog. The staff was beyond amazing. They had a comfort room set aside for situations like this - it was such a peaceful setting. I can't say enough nice things about Dr Echols and the staff at Urgent Vet Clinic in Belmont, NC.
My vet was closed so I took my lab to urgent vet and I highly recommend them !!! They showed me and jaxx ( 3 year old lab) nothing but compassion . They listened to everything I said did exactly what I ask made jaxx feel better before we left and did all of this without having to second mortgage my home lol seriously one of the best we have seen special thank u to Meagan Bonnie yazman. And dr Salazar. U girls rock.
Our dog threw up ~20 small rocks after staying at a pet sitter’s house. Took him in as he was lethargic and we didn’t know if he had eaten anything else. $700 for one set of X-rays, an exam, and metronidazole for diarrhea. They tried to upcharge us saying he needed partial sedation for the X-rays (we’ve never needed this, he’s gotten several X-rays) and to send the X-rays to a radiologist (anyone with general anatomy knowledge, ie. Very disappointed with the care my dog received from this facility. My dog had a ruptured anal gland and they sent him home with antibiotics but no pain medicines Poor thing cried non-stop in pain. When we called to get some, we were told he’d have to be seen again since it was a different doctor on call. Why should I have to pay for not 1 but 2 expensive visits- when it was their mistake for not sending us home with something for the pain?! Had to call my primary vet to get anything.
