Fast friendly care. They explained things well. The cost seemed extreme, they say cheaper then Vet ER I would be curious to know difference. It cost 716 dollars for a visit and some labs and medicine. And still need to follow up to find out why labs are elevated.
My kitty Katarina was seen immediately. She was well taken care of when she was taken back into the clinic, keeping me updated the best they could on their progress and any changes that were needed to her care. They are a very compassionate clinic and I felt my kitty was safe in their hands.
We went to Urgent Vet in O’Fallon, MO yesterday. They got us in very quickly & put us in private room, which was nice & clean. The staff was very nice & very supportive. We were so concerned about our little Shih Tzu. The night before I fell & landed on her. She was having a hard time walking. They did X-rays & didn’t see any damage but then they had the radiologist read them & she found 4 broken ribs. They showed us the X-rays & explained everything. Quick care. Explained the recommended care well. Initial wait wasn't long. I think the only thing that was problematic is how fast the cost went up but it is an emergency clinic for animals so don't think it would be different at other locations. Took a long time to get released but they had some computer issues.
I brought my senior cat in two days in a row for poor recovery from a surgery at a different clinic. Everyone that worked with us was so kind. I think they could tell I was a nervous wreck, and they were able to calm my nerves. They thoughtfully listened and took their time gathering her history, explained recommendations/benefits/risks, provided upfront estimates, included me in the plan of care, and weren't pushy with treatment, but most importantly - they were all so compassionate and gentle with us.
