This is a new primary care service that provides access to individuals with non-life-threatening health concerns. People will be seen on the same day or next day by a primary health doctor or nurse practitioner. Both walk in and booked appointments will be available for everyone in the community, whether or not they have a primary care provider. Reception was very nice, nurse was awesome..but the I saw, Dr. Patti Snair?.. what a joke. Seemed too lazy to get up and actually examine my leg, barely asked any questions and she barely, barely glanced for about 1 second from 8 ft away at my very infected bug bite that was driving me crazy itchy and had spread to a hand sized angry red splotch which had raised bumps that looked full of pus. I’m in Parrsboro each summer and I’ve been to this clinic twice in the last year. Each time they assessed my issue, were very professional and caring. Both times I waited no more than 15 minutes to see the Doctor! As a matter of fact, on my recent visit, I walked in with a cane and walked out without one! I was shocked and surprised at the level of care compared to some clinics in Ontario where you wait sometimes for over an hour. Long live Nova Scotia

One of the few places that would see me with a health card from another province. Booked me a same day appt. NP was super thorough. Discussed all my concerns and treated them all in the same visit. Encouraged me to come back in a week if treatment wasn't successful but it was. Highly recommend.
