First the building's steps are falling apart, don't trip on the broken pieces of concrete. The buildings' windows look nice but the building is very cold or hot because of the numerous windows. The front receptionists seem nice but like to talk about patients so you might hear some HIPAA or PHI while in the waiting room. And they are an urgent care and family practice in one so they are very busy and wait times are sometimes over an hour past your arrival or appointment time. The exam rooms are in poor condition. Receptionist refused to even help me or let a doctor see me. I do not recommend this place. Shouldn't it be up to a dr to decide if they can? Not the first time my family has had issues with her. Seems like a huge power trip.
I’ve come here a few times and have had good experience with the provider and the receptionist with the glasses is such a sweet woman! However, I was really disappointed this last visit. I have history of bronchitis-pneumonia and I have an extensive medical history such as having cancer. O went in not feeling well and I was tachy, SOB, fever, chills and could not catch a breath. Dr. D is one of the most compassionate doctors I have ever met. My family and I have been going to him for years, and he always takes the time to listen and he truly cares. He never makes us feel rushed, and he always makes us feel comfortable after every visit. His staff is wonderful as well, they are always kind, helpful, and welcoming. He is a genuinely caring person, and it shows in the way he treats his patients. He goes above and beyond to make sure we feel heard and taken care of, and that means a lot to our family. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Deruiter. He took his time, listened to all my concerns, was thorough and did something for me when no one else listened. Highly recommend.
