I took my daughter to urgent care today. I stood at the window for 5 minutes. I had to knock on the door to get someone's attention. The woman claimed they were short-staffed, but I saw her standing and talking. The place was empty, then I sat for another 5 minutes, then I called my daughter's doctor and got an appointment. I could see staff playing on their phones.
This is April Smith and my visit left me feeling uneasy due to the provider’s behavior, he said his name is Mike Lewis. Some of the interactions felt inappropriate for a medical setting, and it impacted my comfort and trust. He made sexual comments here and there. I believe patients deserve a safe, respectful environment, and I hope this office reflects on that moving forward. This has made me hesitant to come back to this office. I normally don’t leave reviews. But tonight I was alittle disappointed and after reading the reviews I felt I needed to share my experiences regarding this Urgent care. We walked in at 7:20pm and with a problem to be seen, as this is why you go to the urgent care, closing per sign on door 8pm. However, the unfriendliness from the young lady with the piercing advised us that the doctor was not taken any other patients for the night due to him (doctor) having serval complicated patients for the day! I am not one to write reviews, but had a great experience at Wallace Urgent Care today. Everyone from the front desk to the ones that I saw, especially Samira and the PA Michael Lewis were exceptional. The wait time was very short and the atmosphere was calming, which is great for me. I am glad that Wallace has such a wonderful place to go to when you feel your worst and need some great people to help you on your way to recovery. Thank you Wallace Urgent Care…truly a great place.
