Unfortunately, the visit was billed incorrectly — we were charged for both urgent care and emergency care services, even though only urgent care was provided. When we contacted the insurance company, they confirmed the hospital had used the wrong billing code. ***UPDATED*** 10/9/25 THANK YOU for your token response! I tried to work with you, but you billed me for a physician we never saw. Your organization is criminal and should be disbanded immediately. Dr and staff are great but the billing is crazy high. $600 for a very short visit for back pain. Called ascension and said they couldn’t do anything. Asked for a supervisor. None available. Asked for another way to get reasonable pricing and they said no. So you earned the 1 star.
