Do not recommend Isabelle. I've gone to her once to get a full foil, but she forgot to rinse the bleach out in the back of my head AFTER she toned my hair. She said “Whoops looks like I forgot the back” after I sat down in the chair to dry it. She also kept asking other staff if she was doing everything properly. I was never told that she was new or even using this as a teaching for herself. Now my hair is dead in the back. Just had my first visit with Isabelle at Urban Salon & Spa in Regent Mall (Fredericton) today. She was Absolutely Fantastic! I learned a lot about my hair that no one has ever told before. Seriously no one. I knew that I could see lots of fine flyaway broken/split end looking hair midway though my hair length, but i had absolutely no clue what was causing it. I do not recommend Karen for haircuts or even styling. I wanted curtain bangs, but she cut regular bangs instead. I told her “Its too short” but then she says “It’s just in your head”. And then after all of that (even to the point where I’m crying) she says “Oh she’s a perfectionist” about me to another employee, right in front of me. I left the salon sad, disappointed & angry. I miss my long hair.
