Booked a VO2 Max testing session and paid $215 expected a higher standard of accuracy given the price and specialised nature of the test. The HR monitor (Polar strap) disconnected mid session, forcing me to stop and breaking my momentum. It disconnected a second time, and we ended up relying on my Apple Watch for readings instead (annoying). For a paid physiological test, I expected more reliable equipment ideally a multi-lead ECG setup rather than a chest strap that’s known to be unreliable (I have one of them myself). On t... read more
