good sized store This store located on the Santa Monica promenade has three levels and a very good selection of mens, womens and houseware items. There is always a crowd of young people in there and the music is quite loud. A fun experience with fairly inexpensive items. The clothes and shoes for both men and women are nice and casual with lots of t shirts and jeans. A good spot to stock up on hip basics.

PRICEY for fleamarket things! I love the things they have here, but I'm not about to pay 80$ for a jacket that looks like it came from the Salvation Army rack. It may have some stylish little details and it did fit oh-so-well, but I can spend my money better in other places. If its gonna be expensive, it better look expensive, or have some kind of hidden prize in the pockets. PROS: Pricey CONS: Fun

(Sub)Urban Outfitters Urban Outfitters--hmmmm...."look but don't touch." If you've been in LA for a while, you know to find creativity for a better price. Between the Hindu Gods displayed on lamps and the overpriced lil' teeny bopper t-shirts, I'd say, "find a Goodwill and do it yourself!" I must admit--when I first moved to LA in 1998 I was overwhelmed and excited. That excitement quickly faded away and the realization came that the material is over-priced, trendy and low-quality. I found myself wanting to create it at home... read more

Very trendy, funky store. A mecca for those alternative, band loving people. They have random and unique type of clothes here. Wide array of stylish shoes. Also they have home goods such as pillow, sheets, and chairs for those who want to spice up theirhome. However, the price is not right. So it is your call trendy vs. overpaying for not so great quality that you could probably find elsewhere.

I came here with my daughter and I was amazed at the style of clothing selling for so much money. I didn't think the clothes were very well made and I was surprise to see how much things were in comparison to a store with really well made clothes. Good shoe section but way, way overpriced.

Urban Outfitters Trendy locale on the promenade, parking is rough if you are just going there to shop. Clothes are consignment store style with a Nordstroms price tag. Cool stuff, but get your ideas here and shop elsewhere. If you are willing to spring for something worthy, spend a bundle on a great pair of jeans that fit just right. There is a plethora of possibilities here, but overpriced. PROS: Cool, trendy items; great jeans; home interiors CONS: overpriced, hard to park

This store is so over rated. I remember when they first opened it. I thought it was addorable because of the funky and trendy style. I made a couple of big purchases but each time I was disappointed with the quality of the clothes. They are made very poorly and not at all worth the price of the items. I no longer shop there, I do browse occasionally.

Great store Urban Outfitters is such a fun store to shop in. They have terrific styles to choose from and lots of fun, kitschy accessories to decorate your home as well. The staff is helpful and friendly and they do not hover over you while you shop or bug you to make a sale. It's a big location, too...lots to choose from!

I did purchase a retro Adidas jacket, but felt guilty afterwards for dropping so much cash. I still kick myself every time I look at the silk quilt I bought for $135. If you really think about it, how much would two sheets of solid-colored silk really cost? Even the hair ribbons are over $10. What a rip-off!! Thank God I didn't buy the suede coat, or else I'd be flat broke. The sales people seem oblivious to customers too.
