After researching many landscaping businesses looking for a well-thought-of company to do a small project for us, we decided to contact Urban Oasis Developments and Landscaping. We had Mike come out and give us a quote in the Fall of 2022 to do the landscaping for our new build home. He was very knowledgeable and seemed very genuine (super different from some other landscaping company sales people). We decided to go with them for the Summer of 2023. There was quite a delay in starting the project but most of it was due to the super rainy season we were getting. Mike and his team were so great to work with. I had an idea for a backyard oasis but no clear vision. Mike took the time to help me design exactly what I was looking for, while always considering my budget. His team were super friendly and very efficient. I would highly recommend Urban Oasis.
Had a great experience with Mike and the whole Urban Oasis crew during our backyard re-design and extensive reno. Our fence is the envy of many and still looks great after five years. The new patio, the landscaping and new plantings are coming along well and we're enjoying our yard more than ever. Looking forward to another year in the yard and planning some additional changes at the end of the season. Looking forward to working with Urban Oasis again and have already recommended them to friends for their backyard projects.
Like all contractors it costed 15% more than quoted, and takes 20% longer. BUT. Unique to Mike is the lying and deception. Supposed to be done in the summer...but he says, "You'll be the first next spring." He doesn't start again till July (because other jobs pay more?). We also order 12 plants from him. After installing them all, and charging the quoted price, we find out that ALL 12 PLANTS are a size smaller than quoted, but he charged us full price.
