Urban Juncture is in a pretty rough area of Chicago and yet still does a great job of serving their community. A testament to zero excuses. Their summer programs are great because they bring that incredible community together for fun, good food and service in very positive ways. They've also made creative innovations in the area- The community gardens, rooftop gardens, Business Incubator shops, restorations of landmark properties are a few that I learned about after volunteering.
