I closed on my house on McRee Avenue just after the beginning of Covid. Although communication could have been kept up despite the pandemic, it was nonexistent. I had made complaints about simple, carpeting seams and unwarranted indications of wear and tear on the carpeting as well, and three years later, I am still complaining. I completely agree with the other 1- and 2-star reviews here. I’m adding my own review to reinforce others’ advice to NOT work with UIC. If you do, all I can say is buyer beware and proceed at your own risk. I could write dozens of pages chronicling their lack of professionalism, sub-standard workmanship, and unethical business practices. I’ve shared these details on other forums and through word of mouth and will continue to do so. I am not alone.
