They were shown a picture of my dog and how I wanted her hair cut. They cut her way shorter than the picture. My Yorkie now has hair that is so short she doesn’t even look like herself and it’s going to take weeks to grow out . She had been seeing the previous owner for 6 years and always had amazing service and great haircuts . I will no longer be bringing my dog here , I’m willing to pay double the price somewhere else so my Yorkie never looks this way again !
My 4 dogs are clients at Urban Hound and the girls there are super friendly and professional. My dogs look and smell amazing when they come home. Highly recommend!
Urban Hound is such a great place to get your dog groomed! I told them what I wanted and got exactly what I asked. Our dog, Oliver can be a pain sometimes but they were so patient and kind and worked extremely well with him! You can tell that they truly have a deep love for animals and great prices too! I wouldn't want my dog groomed anywhere else!

I brought my Bichon Frise Shih Tzu mix pup in for grooming and I am absolutly thrilled with how good he looks ! The cut and length were exactly what I had asked for. I felt comfortable leaving bear with the ladies at Urban Hound Pet Spaw and I think he enjoyed his Spaw day as well! It's safe to say Bear will be a frequent visitor :) I highly reccomend!!
The perfect place to take your pets for pampering Great prices, great experience for our pets, awesome staff. We have two dogs and will never hose them off in the backyard again. Even our shy dog (who hates getting wet) is excited to get in the car and go to the Urban Hound. They never have to spend time in a cage while they're there. Mary, a.k.a. "The Dog Lady" knows pets and cares about them. She would probably wash your iguana if you brought one in :) Highly recommended.
Dog Lover In Dubuque, IA The Urban Hound is the most wonder place to take your dog whether you are bathing your pet or having them do it. They use all organic products and have a genuine love of your pet the same way you do. They do not put your dog in a small cage while they are waiting to be groomed or after. There is no other groomer for me.
We love the Urban Hound. We have had a wonderful, friendly experience there. The workers are caring and laid back which makes us and our dogs feel better. They take you step by step how to bath, brush and maintaine you pets coat. They go out of their way to accomidate your schedule and my dogs are not afraid or nervous being there.
