We stayed for one month to explore the city. The location is excellent, with easy access to the subway, restaurants, shopping and services. When we needed something from the landlord they responded immediately. 5C had a working fireplace which was a nice feature. The only shortfall is the building. The lobby is very shabby in it's furnishings and the elevator went out several days while we were there and we had to walk up lots of flights! Excellent service! From the booking process to the end of our stay in the apartment, we received a good, thoughtful, and pleasant treatment. We have booked several different apartments over the years and have never been disappointed. The apartments are clean, inviting, and in great locations in the city. We will be back again!

I don't usually leave reviews but when we looked for place to stay in NYC during the first few months of the school year I couldn't find many reviews on Urban Furnished so wanted to share our experience here in case it helps someone like us in the future! Overall the experience was good, not great but definitely good enough for us. The Good parts: 1. Worst rental experience I've ever had. Short version: Do NOT stay in their 77 East 3rd street location. You'll pay a high price for a "nice" studio and the reality is you'll stay in a disgusting building in a rental unit full of bugs. Long version: There is trash overflowing in the hallway right outside your door that causes a horrible smell. They will tell you they're working on it with building management but then when you ask for updates they'll say it's not their responsibility because it's not a problem within the actu... read more

This is what I wrote to them after my stay: “The other thing I was going to ask was for compensation for the fact that I was unable to use the washer/dryer the whole stay at 26-2A, which is the entire reason I didn't go to a hotel near my apartment, to be able to do laundry and have clean clothes for my appointments. Also to wash the bedding before sleeping in it (for my own piece of mind)...something I can't do at a hotel. They did know it was broken well before I stayed there.
