A friend took me here and let me float with a guest pass of his. Floating was a really incredible experience, and I felt the effects (increased feelings of confidence, concentration, and inner calm) follow me for a couple days into the work week. The location is very clean and the people are incredibly kind (it's obvious they meditate a lot lol). Star deduction is because the price point is way way too high at this time. There's no way I can come back because it's simply not affordable for me to do so.

I am redacting my first four star review in exchange for a one star. Last night, I did my fourth float at Urban Float in Cap Hill. My room was not ready when I arrived and the water was putrid. I attempted to relax, but I could not get passed the awful smell of the water. For the price of Urban Float, you're better of taking the ferry to Victoria, BC and going to FloatHouse. I actually planned on signing up for the monthly, they are way more expensive then other float places. It was the first time there and the person there did not seem that helpful. Rooms were clean, though I have to watch the time. Then on checkout they expect 20%tip.. I'm like you did not do anything. I live in the tipping industry, so I get it, but asking for the same tip as someone who serves you food or does a massage is so not cool.
