Clean, Affordable and Inspiring I had the greatest experience today at Urban Fitness. I agree with all the other reviews, the staff is so friendly, making it very comfortable to be there. I am an overweight female, seeing all of the weight loss results is so inspiring and I can't wait to join the club challenge that they offer. I feel very fortunate to have a club this neat in Mount Vernon. It is very clean, comfortable. and affordable unlike Riverside Fitness that charges $60 per month. I will tell my friends.
Urban Fitness is AWESOME! This is the best club I've ever been a member of! Great equipment and they gave me two free personal training sessions. My trainer was great, she spent two hours with me and designed a whole program for me. Everyone is soooo nice. I'm pretty heavy and I'm so comfortable there. I've lost 23 lbs in 3 months!
Life Changing Urban Fitness has changed my life forever! Walked in the door weighing nearly 300 lbs 1 year ago and have lost over 150 lbs since. I truly feel that the difference is the staff...I felt like the honestly cared that I achieved my weight loss goals. Perfect balance of care and accountability! Always clean. Lots and lots of different classes. I feel very blessed to be part of such an incredible place...my family likes to call Urban my "home away from home". Gotta love it! Thank you Urban Fitness!
Great Club Love...love....love Urban Fitness. I have changed my life. I've lost 57 pounds since joining and have only another 22 to go. The staff is friendly and the club is clean. They seem to always go out of thier way to help. My husband just joined and he's lost 12 pounds in 25 days. I could not be any happier and excited that I have a place to work out and feel as comfortable as I do at Urban!
good clean friendly Always clean and neat. The staff is friendly adn always willing to help out. The group classes they have are fun. The only draw back is that the daycare has very limited hours.
Not great "babysitting" I tried this gym today. It's small and basic, but comfortable and clean. Defiantly doesnât have that pretentious feel that some places have. The staff was very nice and they do offer two complementary sessions with a trainer. I only did 30 mins. cardio though because I just wasn't comfortable leaving my son in the babysitting area. discrimanation I used to work at urban fitness Im an ex employee. 1 day I caught the general manager doing something illegal and I was terminated the very next day . I wasnt given any explanation. I made many friendships working there, I put my heart into that job. I continue d working out there, paying 10.82 everyday, until I realized I;m spending 100s monthly, so I went to become a member. so so The people are nice enough, but it's just a generic health facility. No pool, limited classes. I'm sure it fits the needs of some individuals, but I'm looking for more in a gym.
