Aftercare is non-existent. Happily purchased a NIU moped nearly three years ago. In that time I've required a repair or technical assistance on three occasions. Every time I have had to constantly chase. I'm promised calls back, and don't hear anything. Unfortunately due to the fact that local mechanics don't seem to want to do anything with electric, my options are limited. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. Those who sold the NIU to me disappeared and now I am left with a piece of kit (6 months old) that doesn't work. I have been chasing them for a return but they disappeared like a fart in the park. Stay away they are a scam! If you need an electric moped or bike go to green moped, they are serious professional not a bunch of pseudo criminal
Avoid. I spent £4k on a new Niu bike only for it it randomly stop working in the middle of operating. It went back to repair 4 times in 8 months. After the last of which I tried speaking to a Director of the company only to get fobbed off for the 10th time . I'll be now pursuing legal action
UPDATE: Its been now over 6 months since my motorcycle was picked up by Urban Ebikes and they refuse to return it to me. They have stopped all communication. Its Managing Director Paul Keppler doesn’t care at all about its customers. I’ll now have to take this to court in order to recover my motorcycle. You should avoid this company at all costs. I purchased my NIU electric scooter for them in 2019 and since then it has had engine and battery problems which have not been fixed by Urban eBikes. As other have already mentioned... read more
