I recently had my w114 coupe in for rust repairs and a general tidy-up, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the outcome. Urban Classic Werks didn’t just fix what was obvious - they went above and beyond to restore the car properly. While addressing the rust and repainting the driver-side floor, they discovered one engine mount was completely missing and the other was partially broken. Dinesh, and the rest of the Werx team were awesome getting my 1967 Triumph Herald convertible into shape. Unlike some classic car repairers, they were accessible, prompt and accomodating to my needs. The Triumph had a fair bit of rust that needed removing from the boot floor. Of course they discovered some hidden rust that needed attention. The team sorted it out and cleaned it up. I originally met the team from Urban Classic Werks when using their partner company Ice Blast Co to ice blast a gearbox which turned out beautiful. Me being naturally impressed with their work i asked if Urban Classic works could have a look and see if they could repair a previous companies work (which is always a massive pain in its self) they colour matched, seam sealed, repaired and painted everything to a exceptional standard. Finding a body shop that cares about their work, is extremely hard to come by. I had a very tight deadline for the car to be done before a show, which a lot of work that had to be done. Being in Tas and bringing my car over to Mel to get this done to my car, made me a little bit nervous. After speaking to Damein, I was very confident and happy to leave my car in their hands. I first met the team at Urban Classic Werks when using their sister company The Ice Blast Co, their work at Ice Blast Co has been exceptional on several of my cars so when I decided to fix a few things that were annoying me on my early 911 I decided to trust the team at Urban Classic Works with the task.
