I will keep this short! Gavin is the best. He is a tree artist. He knows how to prune to maintain the tree integrity, what to remove to allow neighbouring trees to flourish; he is an excellent communicator; professional; and a fair price. This is not about hacking, but healthy tree sculpture to maintain the best of your natural environment. Highly recommended over those “bigger tree companies”.
Gavin and his team have removed a tree and pruned two others on my property on two separate occasions and everytime he is quick and responsive with his estimates and doing the job. The prices are great and the work done is always top notch. Nothing but great experiences everytime from Gavin and his crew. I would recommend his services 100%.

Had an excellent experience with Gavin and Tom. They responded quickly to an urgent removal of a large tree in our backyard that had partially fallen over and was at risk of causing further damage. They worked efficiently to quickly remove the tree, while taking extra care to navigate a tight area between neighbouring properties. Gavin and Tom went above and beyond and helped make a stressful situation manageable. Will be calling Urban Canopy Tree Service for any future tree needs.
Gavin was prompt, professional, and respectful. Did a great job, thoroughly cleaned up after himself and his crew when he was done and provided a great deal for the service offered. Highly recommend.
