I went to the shop because it was marketed for being a top shop to find plus size dresses. They had three. Each dress was uglier than the next and in my opinion, the bridal consultants or not the most professional. No one was outwardly mean or anything I just did not enjoy my experience. Also, there was a huge spider and web in the bathroom that looked as though it had been there for a while!
I had a great experience here with Natalie! She was so great and so sweet and I showed her my pictures of types of dresses I was looking at and she picked out some amazing dresses and I found my perfect dress, actually the FIRST one she had me try on ended up being the one! I wanted unique as I’m an older bride and she found the perfect dress for me! Such a cute shop and a wonderful place to find your perfect dress!
Queer friendly, affordable, free mimosas, very cute dresses, helpful stylists, a little far outside the KC metro but worth it!
I had the best experience at Urban Bridal. 10/10 recommend! I was able to bring plenty of guests, had plenty of time, and plenty of options. Dresses were already pulled for me, I had the ability to try on many different styles and textures. It was so fun! I got to say yes to a dress and experience the exact feeling I was looking for. Tears were shed! 😊
I recently visited to help the bride find her dress. The young sales lady was VERY pushy. The bride was not allowed to walk the store. This was also stated in another review and the response from Urban Bridal Shop claimed they do allow the bride to walk the store. That is very untrue, they do not. There were bugs. YES, BUGS!
