I booked with her specifically because she advertises “tension-free” and scalp-friendly braiding, which is really important to me since I’m tender-headed. I even communicated this clearly before and during the appointment. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience at all. I highly recommend Urban Hair Boston for braids! I travel to get my hair done by Tosin because her work is impressive. The braids are tension-free, comfortable, and never too heavy. Her parts are always neat, and the overall style is flawless. If you're looking for quality and comfort, Tosin is the one to go to!

My first time going to a braider in Quincy, and Tosin is the best !!!! Her studio is clean, she is the sweetest person, and the service is amazing. I got the small Marley twists done and I am obsessed with them! They feel very lightweight and unlike some other braiding shops, I didn’t walk out with a complete headache from braiding tension. She also provides the braiding hair & a few snacks too which was amazing. Will definitely be going back when I need my hair done, 10/10 recommend !!!

Can’t recommend Tosin enough. Tosin has been braiding my hair since 2021 and I don’t let ANYONE else braid my hair. So fun, sweet, and extremely passionate about her job and it shows in the quality of their work. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a skilled braided in the Boston area!!!
