Dr. Patel was a very kind, compassionate, empathetic, understanding, and patient doctor to me at a point of my life where I was heavily struggling with severe mental illness and just not okay in the head. I remember I would constantly be messaging him/ the office in crisis mode and he would take the time to thoughtfully respond or call me during the weekend when he was doctor on call.
