I had a deeply troubling experience at this practice. As a Black patient with chronic health conditions, I was denied appropriate care & accommodations-specifically for DSS. Which violates federal disability & civil rights protections. The staff lacks diversity & I experienced discriminatory treatment that felt racially motivated. I went to meet with Dr Park at the Pain Mgmt Center. After exhausting many avenues for my neck pain , I sought out another option. After reviewing my info Dr Park said there was nothing else she could do. I told her I didn’t want to be in pain for the next 20 years, she said Sorry , then walked out . I wasn’t even sure if I was to leave or stay. She offered me no advice ( Possible things I could do, steps I should try, etc) That was it!
On August 5th 2024 I had a CT Enterography. Arrived at 9 am yhe IV was placed, i drank 2 Bottles of Breeze and test started at 10 am. I had an allergic reaction to the IVP medicine OMNIPAQUE. My nose started itching, I started sneezing, my sinuses were out of control, an awful headache, and I had a rapid heart beat. It was hard to breathe.
