Julianna, a physical therapist at this UR's Vestibular Rehab, is a rockstar! After being admitted to Strong for dizziness that wouldn't go away, I saw all the relevant specialists to rule out everything "serious"-- but was discharged with the world still spinning. Julianna was able to-- in a single session-- identify the exact type of Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) I had, and re-position the crystals (I know, I belong in yoga!) with her ninja PT moves. As a patient, I have been very pleased with my physical therapist, the staff at the desk, efficiency, and the services they provide. I can't fault them at all. It would have given five stars EXCEPT the ONLINE information about the correct department name(s) & location(s) in the building, AND the RIGHT phone number are extraordinarily difficult to find! URMC *itself* has to resolve this problem (especially the phone issue for those just trying to call the right place), because the entire building is dedicated to this medical ... read more

URMC’s Department of Orthotics is nothing short of an embarrassment to our community and has no business even operating in its current form, Period! Phone calls don’t get returned, my original orthotic shoe insert was lost somewhere within their system and nobody could ever account for its whereabouts. It took no less than two weeks for the department to even figure that their insert had gone missing. A replacement was re-ordered, but was improperly designed/fitted and my prior foot ulcer reemerged just as soon as I started ... read more
