Dr. Shapiro needs to retire. I honestly felt like I was in an SNL skit. Office is dirty, equipment/methods horribly outdated .... examples: stuffed kleenex between my glasses and eyes - rather than using a patch - to test each eye reading the chart; put the mechanism with lenses on my face so tight, it hurt my nose and left it red for hours. The list goes on. He is extremely slow, repeats himself, forgets what I said two minutes prior, talks to himself ("There I go again ... forget to get new drops." - then takes 10 minutes ... read more

I have gone to Flaum for several years but yesterday was enough for me to ask for my records and I will not be returning there. I had a 12:45 appointment at the College Town branch. I alwys take a 12:45 because I have to be home by 2:30. Chelsea got me in on time and she was very, very pleasant; things went downhill from there. I sat there 20 minutes waiting for the girl to get me for my visual field test. I got one eye done with the test and she realizes she has programmed the wrong test! Once you are done with your visit, there is no way to communicate with the Doctor or PA or reception desk to follow-up. They do not answer the phone. There is no option on MyChart to email or follow-up. I understand all of this. It’s an urgent care facility not a Doctor’s office. . But I had an infection in my eye. The PA saw me & was going to send the prescription over to my pharmacy & send the summary of the visit to MyChart. And she did until she sent a prescription for a discontinued medication. This location has always been excellent, from the receptionists to the nursing staff to the PAs to the MDs. I have never had a less than stellar care experience. I have a Primary Care Physician but I can always get in to see someone when I am experiencing an urgent health situation. I can’t say enough good things.

My husband was brought to the strong West ER on 6/20/23 for trouble breathing he has stage 4 lung cancer and we were at his Oncology doctor at Wilmont Cancer center at strong west they listed to his heart and lungs thought maybe a blood clot so sent us to the ER the doctor on call at that time 11:30am was terrible barely spoke to us had the nurse well at least 5 running around like crazy. My daughter is a patient at Highland Hospital and there is a Doctor Beddoe who works in the maternity unit. She is a GOD sent Angel. Dr. Beddoe and her team cared for my daughter with soooo much love , compassion and professionalism, I don’t even write reviews on things but this is something to talk about . They are amazing

I don't even want to give this place any stars. The service has gone down hill. Ive been a patient since I was born and I'm in the process of finding a new doctor. They send you for scans and imaging and don't even call you back. They put false information on your my chart not once but twice. I can go on and on about this place.

I came from Florida and came here voluntarily for a visit for mental health evaluation after a tragic incident that I had, The room that that had me in was like a prison cell. MALPRACTICE-Misrepresentation of credentials My advice-if you go to EIOH, record your conversations. Beware! EIOH misrepresents license-ineligible practitioners as "experienced dentists who have had or could have a practice of their own". Those are Eliav's words.
