The blood lab at 777 S. Clinton is my go-to UR Medicine lab because it is convenient (location, hours), connected to my Primary Care providers and has staff/technicians who are pleasant, efficient, and prompt in carrying out the service.
Showed up a little before they opened at 8. The technician was very pleasant and did a great job. I was out the door by 8:10 and on my way. No issues at all. Great spot!
Rude receptionists and long wait times AND I told the phlebotomist about a vein that collapses when she was checking out my arm and she tried to draw from it anyway. I redirected her but she had a massive attitude about it. Unfortunate how some people have zero humility and treat patients as objects.
I can't believe that my Primary Care doctor S, when I asked if he could please help me find or get into dental surgical coverage at Strong Hospital. He told me, "Sorry, I don't understand or know how I could possibly help." Instead, he told me to go to someplace way out of the way on the other side of town (not even knowing if that place could or would help). I went to this location today, 2/26/25. Place is clean but well used. Staff is nice and efficient. Got in and out quickly.
