Horrible experience. The front desk has no idea what they are doing nor do they give a shit. The whole process of checking in was a disaster. We ended up waiting a very long time before we were even seen for a simple blood test. We will never go to this location again. Very disappointing because all other U of R labs I have been too have been attentive, kind and quick.

If you aren't already familiar with their strange waiting system, go elsewhere. I signed in via QR code from my car as instructed. Waited and waited...my name was on the list but people who arrived nearly an hour after me were called in whole I was instructed to 'please wait'. Three of us were stuck at the top of the list while people who had arrived 5 minutes ago were called in. Finally after an hour I went in to check and was told that they had called me on the phone and told me to come in, and why hadn't I come in? No-one... read more

Today my phlebotomist was Letitia. She was kind, warm, and painlessly professional in drawing blood. I have had many such experiences at the UR Medicine Labs at Clinton Crossings. I do understand how people can get annoyed by the one hour break from 12 to 1 for lunch (perhaps the lunch breaks can be staggered?) but the lab serves many people, of all kinds, well. Results are back within hours. We are so lucky to have world-class medical care in our midsize metropolis.

There are outdated QR codes on the website that still allow you to fill out a check-in form and even send you a confirmation — but they are no longer valid and don’t register with the front desk. I sat in the waiting room for over an hour before discovering this. When I checked with the staff, they were dismissive and acted as though I was inconveniencing them.
