Cannot say enough amazing things about almost all things associated with URMC. They take care of their people so that they can take care of us! Way to go to the ER Team on duty between 3-8 am on Sunday 6/28. You are the real MVPs
They are getting a one star because there’s no zero star option. Emergency room is extremely slow and composed of incompetent staff. My wife went in with a dislocated shoulder that eventually took a doctor 30 seconds to reset, but before that had to wait for 3+ hrs in extreme pain. Nurse that came to draw blood did not know what blood vessels looked like and couldn’t distinguish a vein from a tendon. The fact that this nurse was hired there tells you about their standards. I was eating in the cafeteria and I encountered an rude and abrasive couple of employees calling each other by "Mother" and "Son" openly across the eating area as well as shouting. I was just trying to eat and I felt like I was in a social club after a doctors appointment. I just don't know how employees can't just do their job.
