We had a great experience with Dr. Darin and his office. Our family ended up relocating before my daughter completed treatment, and throughout the process I appreciated how approachable, responsive, and willing to communicate he was. Personally, I moved from downstate and I was a transfer from orthodontists. UPward was AMAZING, they were nice, funny, and they didn’t feel like you were getting your teeth pulled out like my old orthodontist. If I could give this more stars I would.
The orthodontist, completely unprompted, made several political statements in the middle of removing a permanent retainer. He then proceeded to drill the glue from my teeth with no water to cool it, causing a lot of pain. He didn’t stop when I was clearly uncomfortable. I was very disappointed because everyone else was very kind and professional.
