We absolutely love Uptown Stitch! My daughter takes weekly sewing classes here and she looks forward to her class every week. They encourage her to challenge herself as she is learning new patterns. They have given my daughter the confidence to try new things at home. EVERY bride should have Cheri as their seamstress! She is incredibly talented, patient and so kind. She works tremendously hard to make your dream wedding dress come true! My gown was roughly 10” too long, and she was able to alter it perfectly! She completed it within a 2 1/2 month timeframe, and her prices are reasonable. I often call her “Heaven sent” because she really is an angel. Before meeting her, I had another appointment with a tailor, and left feeling very disappointed. Everyone here is also sweet. Brenda is an angel with so many talents! I came here for private sewing classes and I really expected to go in and have someone be offended by the things I wish to accomplish one day with my sewing. I figured someone would say “you’re in over your head!!” or “that’s going to take you years!!” but instead I was met with complete patience and an amazing, encouraging teacher. The prices were slightly above average, and the experience was just okay. I went in to have a suit jacket tailored, and I found that the stitching was a very subpar job. I could not tell that an experienced individual did the work on the jacket due to the crooked and misaligned stitching paired with the several loose threads left on the jacket. The team were incredible! From the minute you walk in you feel welcomed! We came in for a beginner private lesson for my daughters 8th birthday and she left absolutely beaming… Our instructor was just so professional, patient, kind and passionate! My daughter made a dress out of a T-shirt and left so excited and proud of herself! Thank you again for making my girls day so special 🥰❤️❤️
