Steve was a breath of fresh air in the stinky mess that is much of the Boston housing market. He showed us two apartments that we really liked. We ultimately chose some place else, but I came here to leave a review anyway because it was such a good experience working with him.
Have used Uptown Realty and Steve Sapontzis twice now for apartment rentals and couldn't be happier. He is prompt in getting back to you regarding emails/inquiries, he shows you available housing in exactly the price range you're looking for, and is honest about the pros and cons of each rental. There is no aggressiveness to "close" a sale, he provides you with all of the information you'll need before moving in (where to get keys, if there's a brokers fee/security fee), and all of his rental contracts are clear and transpar... read more
I lived in one of Steve’s apartments some years ago and to this day, Uptown Realty is the best rental agency I’ve ever worked with. Steve is so kind, personable, accommodating, and responsive to residents. I still remember once when our heater went out, he immediately bought us a really nice portable heater to use in the interim of it getting fixed (which was the next day).
