Jimmy at Uptown Bar-ber Studio is an absolute legend. The shop has a great vibe and is in a super convenient location, but Jimmy's skills are what will keep you coming back. Finding a barber who is a wizard with both clippers AND scissors is almost impossible, but he's got it down. I literally just tell him the vibe I want, and he nails it every single time, but somehow even better. 10/10, highly recommend.
Landon Allison really is the GOAT
Had an appointment with Anthony today just to drive 25 minutes to find a locked up shop. No response via text message. Appointment was confirmed through the Booksy app. Guy use to be a good barber. Lately, it’s canceled or changed appointments, or in the event of today, not even showing up. He stopped using straight razors to line you up. Just seems to have gotten lazy/comfortable. I’ll be driving 45 minutes moving forward to go to my old barber in Raleigh.
Atmosphere is always great and the service is 2nd to none
