My husband and I planned for him to take me to work so we can do a date night at Uptown after work!! I had a long day at work and it delivered. I enjoyed the food tremendously. We ordered lamb chops and sirloin with collards, loaded mash potatoes, and Mac n cheese!!! Delicious and perfectly cooked. Our server was very nice and attentive. We had a party of four and left with mixed feelings. There were definitely some bright spots, but also several disappointments that kept this from being a better experience. The biggest issue was the steaks. We ordered a Prime ribeye medium-rare, but no one informed us they were out of the Prime cut until the steak was delivered to our table. The food and drinks were the best I've had in a while. Delicious doesn't even come close. There should be a new word for how good this food taste.
