Our long term vet closed a few years ago leaving us vet less. I was support for my friend two years back that took her dog to Uptown to assist with end of life care. The high level of compassion the entire staff showed was AMAZING! I have since brought 4 cats and a dog to Uptown. Dr Dunfield is our regular vet and I can’t say enough great things about her. We brought our 3 yr old Min poodle in at 2 am because she didn't seem like she could breathe well and coughing. They got her right in and found she had a 3inch blade of grass stuck between her tonsils. They put her to sleep and removed it almost immediately. They took care of our dog as if it was they're own. I would recommend them anytime you have an emergency or not one. They all all caring people and love animals as much as us parents do. Thank you to all that took care of our baby girl. You're the best!!!
Uptown has always been there for me, whether routine care, urgent care or emergency. My most recent experience involved a telehealth consult. The doctor had obviously reviewed previous notes regarding the issue at hand and was prepared to provide excellent advice. This is very typical of Dr Dunfield. She always listens to my concerns with a professional and sympathetic ear and responds with a clear and decisive plan. Her empathetic and caring attitude reassures me I am taking my dog to the right clinic.
Always a great experience at Uptown! My furry friend had his dental cleaning this week. It was a smooth process with a sparking outcome!
I could genuinely not say better things about this vet. It has always been my go to E-vet since my 8 year old dog was about 2ish. A year ago we had a vet do an absolute hack job on my boy that sent him into an essential shock and he got so sick. The prior vets new assistant whispered that we take him somewhere else we IMMEDIATELY brought him here. They took the BEST possible care of him was it expensive ? Of course.
