I was considering having Donna instruct me and my family with her kayak company. She was able to locate me on a app called Thumbtack to pour a concrete floor for her so she can store all of her kayaks which she openly admitted to having another place store those kayaks for free and she was still charging people the same price, but they did sell the property and she was responsible to store everybody’s kayaks after going back-and-forth trying to accommodate her with a very, very generous price I put in more work than necessar... read more
We had nothing short of a 5-Star experience!!!!! Donna was incredible! Her communication skills were outstanding. Donna wanted our party of 4 to have the best kayaking experience ever...and we did. When you are in the area, give Donna a call and kayak the "Flight of Five" locks along the Erie Canal.
Rented online for self serve pick up to go through the flight of locks. Still wasn’t sure what we were about, but Donna was super helpful, emailed us about some options, then got us all ready, shoved us off the launch and even contacted the locks to get us underway. The paddling was easy, and going through the locks quite an experience. Remarkable piece of history and engineering! After getting out of lock 2 we paddled on the Mohawk River SE side of Peebles Island, saw a water fall and eagles before returning the kayaks. A r... read more
