Fun The Upstage is a wonderful place to go while visiting Port Townsend. It is just off the main strip. You can enjoy drinks, dancing, music and entertainment. My wife and I love to bring friends visiting from out of town to the Upstage for a night out.

Best blues in the best venue in town!!!!! – Hi, Having lived here for several years I have seen many a business come and go. One place I can count on to find great music, great food and friendly people is the "Upstage". I have seen countless blues musicians at the "upstage, some famous and others I expect "will be" soon enough. From the owner to the sound guy/mc and the very competent and caring waitresses and cooks I can count on a great experience each time I am there. Hope to see you there real soon. Very Poor !! – Honestly, one of the worst dining experiences Ive ever had ! Making reservations , I was told they have shrimp on the menu ( Not ). I have never been to a resturant in my life , that pours the water on your table before anyone even shows up .. (not ice water either!) Some tables had water (warm ) on them for hours, before guests arrived. We moved to another table & wait staff did not even change out water glass's. they asked if we had drank from our glass's ? Great Setting! – I love the Upstage! The food is fantastic- all kinds of high-end pizzas, pot roast, steak, seafood to boot. The service is first class, as far as small towns go. The music selection is amazing! Del Ray, Guitar Shorty, James Blood Ulmer- the list goes on. The wine selection is short, but good- local and mostly washington varieties. Even includes organic wines for people who cannot have sulfites. Local beer- which is always a treat and many older favorites as well. I heard they'll soon get a hard liquer licens... read more

1500 Years Old – If I live to be 1500 years old, I will never go to this "bar" again. Why? It's simple- 1- They do not serve liquor (this is the only "music venue", Blues Bar, etc. I have ever been to that doesn't)-AND their Beer selection was poor-they were out of the only one I really wanted 2-Seating for live performances is horrible. Half of the building is alienated. $20ea + $70 for a mediocre dinner got us the worst seats I have ever had-and-we drove big time to get there This was a huge disappointment.
