Upon discharge - was told to go to a Stat Care from now on. I have Medicare and Medicaid.
The emergency room waiting room is so dark. I felt like I was sitting in a dirty cave. I can't imagine having to work behind that desk everyday. Has to be depressing. PS... I was not there as a patient.
Horrible ER. You wait for hours before they get you to a room. Then they run one test, wait an hour to come back in to run another test, and then the nurses just completely disappear for hours. Some of the nurses are ok, but most just don’t care and have the attitude that “I don’t care, I get paid either way.” They are cocky as hell.
My family and I were driving home from vacation in South Carolina on July 11, 2026 when I experienced the worst headache/migraine of my life. My wife took over driving, between her and my 17 year old daughter they found Union Hospital. She pulled in, security got me out of the passenger seat, into a wheelchair, and to CT scan within what seemed a matter of minutes.
